Permaculture, Aquaponics, No Dig Gardening

Welcome to our website, where we're passionate about promoting sustainable and regenerative gardening practices. We specialize in teaching you about permaculture, aquaponics, and no-dig gardening methods, which we believe are the best ways to grow healthy and abundant food while minimizing impact on the environment.

Regenerative gardening

We believe that by using these sustainable and regenerative gardening methods, we can help create a more resilient and sustainable food system, which is essential for our survival. We hope that through this website, we can educate and inspire others to start their own permaculture, aquaponics, and no-dig gardening projects.

Permaculture

Permaculture is a holistic design approach that mimics the patterns and relationships found in nature. It emphasizes the use of diverse, multi-functional elements and the integration of all aspects of the site, including the water, soil, plants, and animals. By using permaculture principles, we can create a sustainable and resilient ecosystem that requires minimal maintenance and input.

Aquaponics

Aquaponics is the combination of aquaculture (fish farming) and hydroponics (soil-less plant cultivation) in a symbiotic relationship. Fish waste provides an organic food source for the plants, and the plants in turn clean the water for the fish. This closed-loop system is highly efficient and can be used to grow a wide variety of plants, including vegetables, herbs, and fruits.

No Dig Gardening

No-dig gardening is a method of growing plants without turning over the soil. Instead, a thick layer of organic matter, such as compost or straw, is added to the surface of the soil to create a fertile growing environment. This method has many benefits, including improved soil structure, increased water retention, and reduced erosion.
